“Freedom of Choice” is the newest single release from Guthrie Trio, featuring Darren Guthrie on Vocals & Guitar, Paul Rhodes on Bass & Max Carter on Drums. The band recorded the release at Sativa Studios in Rockingham, and then mixed and mastered at Scudley Records with Peter Renzullo.

The song is built around an upbeat Ska inspired riff, a catchy chorus and a driving bassline to help deliver a powerful message through the lyrics.

“Freedom of Choice” is a socio-political inspired song about personal freedoms, body autonomy and above all, our belief in the right to choose what we do without unjust consequences - such as losing jobs, losing freedom of movement and denial of services.

We are saddened about the division that is being created within our community, country and ultimately the world during these times.

Our message in this song is that we will continue to stand up and voice our thoughts, and that we will always respect other peoples rights to have a voice - even if if their opinion differs from ours.
